Abstract
Description
Trauma-informed services training for library staff is an ARL grant-funded collaboration between Temple University Libraries, the Free Library of Philadelphia, and Temple University School of Social Work. This presentation discusses how the collaborators designed and organized subsidized training on a trauma-informed approach for academic and public library staff, taught by School of Social Work instructors. It also presents feedback from the first workshop in the series, that was used to help define the subsequent workshops.
