The project length was one year and was formed by the Chair of the Medical Library Association Latinx Caucus, Aidy Weeks (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) and was led by Stephanie Roth (Temple University, Philadelphia) and Rebecca Orozco (University of Nevada, Las Vegas). The team was guided by search and validation experts. This resource was put together by the Medical Library Association (MLA) Latinx Caucus [https://www.mlanet.org/page/caucus-latino] on July 20, 2021 and will continue to be maintained by the MLA Latinx Caucus. Create a set of functional search hedges based on the availability of Hispanic/Latinx terms in each respective database. 2. Once functional search hedges are created by the group, the next step will be to identify and run one database through testing and validation with input from expert searchers 1.
