Julia: "Ma che bello! Abbiamo cucinato la lasagna come proprio faceva la nonna Rosa."

Cousin: "Sì è vero, solo che lei usava il pomodoro e la carne, la nostra è vegetariana."

Julia: "Ma certo perchè Aidan non mangia la carne."

Cousin: "Ma Aidan quando arriva? Sono proprio curiosa di conoscerlo."

Julia: "Ti ricordi il cugino Nicola?"

Cousin: "Si."

Julia: "Assomiglia un pò a lui."

Cousin: "Il cugino Nicola? Ma scherzi? Il cugino Nicola era bellissimo! Guarda un pò le foto del matrimonio con Silvana."

Julia and her cousin sit down at the table. They look at a photograph that is on the table.

Julia: "Ma questo non era il matrimonio... Era il suo compleanno. Sei impazzita?"

Cousin: "Sì."

Julia: "Ma guarda invece come era bella mia madre..."

Cousin: "Eh sì, zia Adele è sempre stata la più bella. Ma anche tuo padre zio Carlo era un bellissimo uomo."

Julia: "Sì, una bella coppia anche se litigavano sempre."

Julia and her cousin laugh.

Cousin: "Sì, ti ricordi quando hanno litigato alla laurea di tuo fratello? Mentre Marco discuteva la tesi, loro due gridavano. Che ridere!"

Julia: "Eh, insomma... Che vergogna!"

Footage transitions to a close up a door handle. The door opens.

Footage transitions to Julia and her cousin sitting at the table.

Cousin: "Ah, ecco Aidan!"

Andrew walks into the kitchen and greets Julia and her cousin.

Andrew: "No scusa, sono Andrew, piacere."

Cousin: "Piacere... Ah, ma il fidanzato di quella sempre in ritardo!"

Andrew: "Si chiama Eileen e non è sempre in ritardo!"

Julia: "Infatti tutto è pronto da mezz'ora e lei, dove sta?"

Footage transitions to the front door, where Eileen walks in.

Eileen: "Scusate."

Eileen rushes into the kitchen to greet the others.

Eileen: "Scusate scusate scusate. Ciao amore..."

Eileen kisses Andrew on the cheek.

Eileen: "Ma mentre venivo qui ho incontrato una mia amica ci siamo fermate a parlare non mi sono resa conto che era tardi."

Julia starts to place silverware on the table.

Julia: "Uhm... Che strano, Eileen!"

Cousin: "Tanto Aidan non c'è ancora..."

Andrew picks up some plates and starts placing them on the table.

Andrew: "Ma dai... Ho fame... Allora questa famosa lasagna di nonna Rosa?"

Transition music plays.

They all set the table and sit down.

Footage transitions to the front door, where Aidan walks in.

Aidan: "Mi dispiace. So che sono in ritardo ma mentre venivo il mio motorino si è rotto."

Julia: "Va bene, va bene... Tutti tavola."

Julia takes a lasagna out of the oven.

Aidan takes a seat at the table.

Julia: "Eccola! Bella, calda, piena di verdure, funghi, besciamella e formaggio."

Julia places the lasagna in the middle of the table.

Aidan: "Julia, quanto mi dispiace ma non posso mangiare nemmeno il formaggio sono intollerante al lattosio."

Cousin: "Immaginavo... Nessun problema."

Julia's cousin picks up a salad bowl from the counter and places it on the table.

Cousin: "Ecco una bella insalata di zucchine e cetrioli come la faceva nostra zia Maria!"

Julia: "E' perfetto!"

They all laugh.
