To identify studies to include or consider for this systematic review, the review team worked with a medical librarian to develop detailed search strategies for each database. The search was developed for PubMed (NLM) translated into Embase (Elsevier), Cochrane Central (Wiley), Applied Social Sciences Index and Abstracts (ProQuest), and Web of Science Core Collection (Clarivate Analytics) ,using a combination of keywords and subject headings. A grey literature search included clinicaltrials.gov, WHO ICTRP https://trialsearch.who.int and MedRxiv (https://www.medrxiv.org) websites. The search was not limited. The final search was completed on August 11, 2023. The full search details are provided in Appendix(___).Description

PubMed (NLM) from 04/01/1983 to 08/14/2023 (104 Results) Embase (Elsevier) from 2003 to 2023 (116 Results) Cochrane Central (Wiley) from 2007 to 2023 (35 Results) Applied Social Sciences Index and Abstracts (ProQuest)from 1971 to 2023(34 Results) Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) from 1993 to 2023 (167 Results) The search resulted in 535 studies 207 duplicate studies were found and omitted using Endnote 20 for the deduplication of records and 328 references were eligible to screen. Studies were screened by title and abstract by two blinded and independent reviewers. If a tiebreaker was needed, a third reviewer was called in. This process was repeated for full text article screening and article selection.Citation
