dc.description	This collection of interactive activities appears in Unità Preliminare - Ciao! of Gratis!: A Flipped-Classroom and Active Learning Approach to Italian, an open textbook intended for students with no previous knowledge of Italian by Carmelo A. Galati and published by North Broad Press. These fill in the blank and drag and drop activities are designed to help students practice and recall their understanding of greetings and salutations and the formal and informal register. The activities have been created using H5P (h5p.org) and can be integrated into any H5P-compatible platform. Activities include 1) Fill in the chart by inserting the greetings below to their proper formal or informal register. Some expressions may be invariable 2) Formal vs. Informal 3) Subject Pronouns 4) Match the subject pronoun to the corresponding person/s 5) Subject Pronouns 6) Match each statement with its corresponding mood 7) The verb "stare" 8) Match each statement or question to its subject and 9) Formal vs. Informal.
