Abstract
Description
This video accompanies Unità Preliminare - Ciao! in Gratis! A Flipped-Classroom and Active Learning Approach to Italian, an open textbook by Carmelo A. Galati and published by North Broad Press. The unit prepares students to introduce themselves and others to their language learning peers. Using the target language, students ask for and exchange information with classmates in the informal and formal register. At the conclusion of the unit, students will be able to: use greetings and express courtesy; present themselves and others; and exchange information with other language learners.
