Abstract
Description
A key goal of this column is to engage NAGAP members in thoughtful reflection on the ethical issues facing our profession. This edition of The Ethics Corner was contributed by guest columnist and fellow member Joseph Paris, Assistant Dean of Marketing and Enrollment Management in the College of Education at Temple University. His topic is very timely, as the U.S. Department of Education recently published a new resource guide encouraging higher education institutions to remove barriers for those with criminal records: Beyond the Box: Increasing Access in Higher Education for Justice-Involved Individuals (www.ed.gov/beyondthebox).
