Abstract
Description
This collection of interactive activities appears in Unità 1 - Al bar of Gratis!: A Flipped-Classroom and Active Learning Approach to Italian, an open textbook intended for students with no previous knowledge of Italian by Carmelo A. Galati and published by North Broad Press. These fill in the blank, mark the words, and drag and drop activities are designed to help students practice and recall their understanding of the lesson’s vocabulary regarding food and beverages. The activities have been created using H5P (h5p.org) and can be integrated into any H5P-compatible platform. Activities include 1) Bar vocabulary 2) Bar vocabulary 3) Identify whether the items are Bevande, Cibo, or Condimenti and place them in the correct category 4) Complete the table by inserting the singular noun in the table based on its gender 5) Gender of Nouns 6) Complete the table by inserting the plural noun based on its gender and 7) Gender of Nouns in the Plural.
