Name of file that was updated: i. Why was the file updated? ii. When was the file updated? -------------------------- METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION -------------------------- 1. Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: To identify studies to include or consider for this systematic review, the review team worked with a medical librarian to develop detailed search strategies for each database. The search was developed for PubMed (NLM) translated into Embase (Elsevier), and Web of Science Core Collection (Clarivate Analytics), CINAHL (Ebscohost), SPORTDiscus with Full Text (Ebscohost), Sports Medicine & Education Index (ProQuest), and Cochrane CENTRAL (Wiley),using a combination of keywords and subject headings. A grey literature search included Clinicaltrails.gov(https://classic.clinicaltrials.gov/)and Who International Clinical Trials (https://trialsearch.who.int/). The search was not limited. The final search was completed on November 1, 2023. The full search details are provided in Appendix(___). PubMed (NLM) from 1995 to 2023 (42 Results) Embase (Elsevier) from 2007 to 2023 (35 Results) Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) from 1995 to 2023 (35 Results) CINAHL (Ebscohost) from 2002 to 2023 (22 Results) SPORTDiscus with Full Text (Ebscohost) from 1989 to 2023 (28 Results) Sports Medicine & Education Index (ProQuest)  from 2001 to 2023 (19 Results) Cochrane Central (Wiley) from 1989 to 2023 (9 results) ClinicalTrials.gov(https://classic.clinicaltrials.gov/)from 2019 to 2023 (9 results) Who International Clinical Trials (https://trialsearch.who.int/)  from 2005 to 2023 (18 Results) The search resulted in 270 studies 92 duplicate studies were found and omitted using Endnote 20 for the deduplication of records and 178 references were eligible to screen. Studies were screened by title and abstract by two blinded and independent reviewers. If a tiebreaker was needed, a third reviewer was called in. This process was repeated for full text article screening and article selection.[6] 2. Standards and calibration information, if appropriate: The citations can be deposited into a systematic review software for screening and is formatted for importing into Rayyan [https://rayyan.qcri.org/] a free screening tool. The file is also compatible with the Covidence (requires a subscription or free trial) [https://www.covidence.org/] and Abstrackr (free) [http://abstrackr.cebm.brown.edu/] systematic review screening tools. 3. Describe any quality-assurance procedures performed on the data: N/A 4.
