Andrew: "Sto morendo di fame."

Eileen: "Sì anche io devo assolutamente mangiare qualcosa. Ma non ho molto tempo forse prendo un panino all'alimentare."

Andrew: "Noi invece abbiamo finito le lezioni per oggi. Julia, ti va di venire con me al ristorante?"

Julia: "Sì certo."

Transition music plays.

Footage transitions to the inside of a resturant where a waitress stands behind the bar. Andrew and Julia walk into the restaurant.

A waitress walks over to the table where Andrew and Julia sat down.

Waitress: "Buongiorno. Ecco a voi."

The waitress gives Andrew and Julia menus.

Andrew: "Grazie. Possiamo avere anche dell'acqua e del pane."

Waitress: "Sì certo."

Andrew: "Grazie."

The waitress walks away from the table. 

Andrew and Julia look at their menus while the waitress returns with a pitcher of water and basket of bread and sets them on the table.

Waitress: "Ecco a voi l'acqua e il pane."

Andrew: "Grazie. Che cosa mi consiglia per primo la carbonara o la cacio e pepe."

Waitress: "Veramente sono buone tutte e due."

Andrew: "Allora prendo la cacio e pepe."

Julia: "Io invece prendo un antipasto i fiori di zucca che mi piacciono da morire."

Waitress: "Va bene. Volete scegliere anche il secondo o preferite aspettare?"

Julia: "Ma si, possiamo scegliere un secondo. Andrew, che ne dici di dividere un piatto?"

Andrew: "Sì certo possiamo scegliere l'ossobuco, è una specialità romana."

Julia: "Io sono vegetariana, non mangio né carne né pesce. Dobbiamo scegliere un altro piatto."

Andrew: "Ti va la parmigiana di melanzane?"

Julia: "Assolutamente sì! La adoro! Allora prendiamo la parmigiana."

Waitress: "Va bene, due parmigiane?"

Julia: "No, ne prendiamo una e la dividiamo."

Waitress: "Perfetto."

Transition music plays.

Footage transitions to the bar in the restaurant and then pans to the table where Andrew and Julia are sitting. Andrew looks at his watch.

Andrew: "Julia, abbiamo tempo per un dolce, forse un caffè?"

Julia: "Ma si, non dobbiamo tornare all'università."

Andrew: "Ok, perché io voglio il tiramisù. Non l'ho mangiato qui a Roma."

Julia: "Io invece voglio provare la crostata di frutta. Ho provato di farla a casa ma non è venuta bene."

The waitress walks up to the table.

Waitress: "Allora, volete un dolce?" 

Julia: "Sì per me la crostata di frutta e anche un caffè."

Andrew: "Per me il tiramisù."

Waitress: "Lo abbiamo al caffè o alla fragola, come lo preferisce?"

Andrew: "Quasi quasi lo provo alla fragola e ci porta anche il conto per favore?"

Waitress: "Sì vi porto anche il conto ma dovete pagare alla cassa."

Andrew: "Ok grazie."

Julia: "Vogliamo lasciare qualcosa di mancia?"

Andrew: "Sì certo, hai degli spiccioli?"

Julia: "Si, ho quattro euro."

Andrew: "Ok, che va bene."

Transition music plays.

Andrew and Julia get up from the table and leave the restaurant.

Footage transitions to a sidewalk and store front.

Onscreen text reads: "Eileen, nel frattempo..."

Eileen walks into the store and stands in front of a deli counter.

Eileen: "Buongiorno una ciabattina con prosciutto crudo e Bel Paese, per favore."

Footage transitions to various meats and cheeses in the deli counter.

A person hands Eileen a wrapped sandwhich.

Eileen: "Grazie."

Eileen leaves the store.
